GETTING FRIENDLY

There are a number of ways in which believers could get friendly through and with FMI. These include:

A. RESOURCE PERSONS POOL
This pool will comprise of persons who are professionals, and those with skills that could help people and better community life . Such persons having committed themselves will be called upon when there is need and at times convenient to them, to conduct talks, training and seminars. This pool will also include ministers who will also be called upon to handle such meetings as may be necessary.

B.FRIENDS EXPOSURE PROGRAM (FEP) VOLUNTEERS
This program is all about creating ministry opportunities for your abilities as God's child. The objectives of this program include :

• Engaging urban believers in rural out reach and exposing them to the life, challenges and adverse conditions that face their fellow believers out there.
• To provide encouragement , fellowship, training, grounding and motivation to our rural brethren, so as to help them become more effective Christians
• To provide you with the opportunity to be a blessing by your gifts, knowledge and exposure. Think of the crusades, seminars, conferences, Christian television and radio that you have been exposed to, most of these never reach the rural areas. Its time to make a difference, its time to put your gifts and knowledge to use - you can be a friend in need and truly a friend indeed.
• To engage in community development activities such as conducting awareness talks (on vital issues like AIDS, Hygiene or family planning), offering training in various crafts or encouraging good agricultural practices. All this is intended to be with the help of trained personnel in each particular field.

Teams will be organized under the supervision of an FMI representative, that will be sent to places identified to be in need. The duration of each mission will vary depending on need and convenience. Ministry opportunities will include music, drama, intercession, children's ministry and many more! There is definitely a place for you. Note that FMI will reserve the right to reject applications to this program if the applicant does not meet the required qualifications based on their application form. Further, FMI will have the right to terminate the involvement of a volunteer, if they fail to co-operate or submit to leadership during programs, display behaviour totally contrary with Christian witness and standards, or in case of poor health. The FEP is open also to believers outside Zambia. Appropriate arrangements can be made to facilitate this.

C. OIL OF GLADNESS
We aim to form a music ministry team that will devote itself to ministering in praise and worship concerts , crusades and revival meetings. We therefore invite believers with a passion to sing and play skillfully to the Lord under this ministry to consider getting involved. However, this program will definitely involve a lot of traveling and we advise all who would love to be a part of this ministry to pray, and think seriously before thinking of getting committed.
